Nix Cold Calling!

Nix Cold Calling

Are you all tied up in knots?  Staring at the phone, avoiding making that cold call, and watching your bank account dwindle?

When you started your company, you probably never   dreamed you would have to be the one to try and get people to buy your products or services and become a pathetic telemarketer, right?I have some great news for you. You can nix cold calls and remove them from your to-do list right now, today.

Instead of cold calling, think of it as an outreach program. Make a list of the top five to ten customers you really want to do business with. Research them and read their websites thoroughly. Find something about them or their business that you can relate to or is similar in philosophy to your business. In addition, put yourself in your customer’s shoes. What business challenges do you think they might be having? How do you think your products or services could help them?

Use that information to craft your opening line and warm up that call. In fact, if you get good at this, you will sizzle! Everything you say should be about the customer. Tell them why you think your companies have a great synergy and then explain what you can do for them. You will feel empowered and love what you do again and now they will always take your call.

Nix cold calling and start bonding!  If you want the formula for how to write a killer opening email for contacting new prospects, get your free copy by signing up for the newsletter.
